MP Duarte Nunes from the National Congress for the Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT) concerned about the presence of Radio Maubere, because the referred radio only broadcast political propaganda to the public.
"If there are some parties making a self-defense using media then some other parties will plan to set up their media, because the media of the party is just to appear misunderstanding among the followers from each party and I am concerned about this thing," MP Nunes said.
MP Nunes added the security situation in the country is under control so far, but the existence of party's media will affect the country's stability, because they only broadcast political information about the party.
The Parliamentary President Fernando "Lasama" de Araujo, said this issue will be discussed in the meeting of the political leaders that will be held on June 24.
President of Fretilin, Francisco Lu-Olo Guterres, recently said, they will also set up branch of Radio Maubere in some sub-districts and districts in order to transmit information on the party.
